A pipeline is only useful if it holds up outside a lab. I took Tatau into an actual tattoo shop and used it with three indecisive customers — people who wanted a tattoo but couldn't commit to a design, a size, or where exactly it should sit.

Instead of flat reference images or a stencil that only shows up once it's already on the skin, each of them got scanned and watched their design get sketched directly onto their own 3D body. Tatau helped them decide to go forward with the selected design and size.
